Runners, Walkers And Strollers Welcome At Sunday's Friends Of Reston Fall 5K
Anyone looking for a good excuse to get outside and enjoy the fall weather should check out the Friends of Reston's first Fall 5K event.
RESTON, VA — Reston runners, walkers and strollers still have time to sign up to participate in the inaugural Friends of Reston Fall 5K.
The event begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday at Brown's Chapel Park, which is located at 1686 Brown’s Chapel Road in Reston. Participants will travel along paved trails in north Reston, finishing up back at the park. Once there, they can take part in the awards celebration, win prizes and listen to live music.
Online registration is open until Oct. 15 on the Friends of Reston's website for a fee of $45. Registration will also be available for the same fee on the day of the event.

Spectators are encouraged to come and cheer on the Fall 5K's participants. Anyone who is interested in volunteering at this community event can contact Ha Brock at ha@reston.org.
