INMED Salutes 2 Community Builders

Claude Moore Community Builders supports local nonprofits with volunteers

Congratulations to Maeve McQuillan and Vihita Kanteti, two high school volunteers who completed the Loudoun Cares Claude Moore Community Builders (CMCB) project with INMED’s Family & Youth Opportunity Center. The CMCB program connects teens with unique volunteer experiences at respected nonprofit organizations while supporting nonprofits with much-needed volunteers. This experience helps students develop skills and qualifications that give them a competitive edge in higher education and future careers, in addition to preparing them for a lifetime of service.

[insert description of what the girls did—TK from Erin] Loudoun Cares recently presented INMED with a commemorative plaque in appreciation for supporting the CMCB program. Learn more at http://www.loudouncares.org/what-we-do/claude-moore-community-builders/.

If you or someone you know is looking for volunteer opportunities at INMED, please contact Erin Lewis at elewis@inmed.org.
