Lake Anne SCA donates food

Lake Anne ES SCA students held another successful two weeks of promoting and supporting the local food bank at Cornerstone by gathering up over 20 boxes full of food for their program. SCA students put on a healthy competition between all the grades for the class/grade who brought in the most food for a free recess as their prize. We are proud to announce that for the K to 2 category, our 2nd graders won the prize and for our 3 to 6 grade, our 5th graders took the prize. Congratulations to ALL our students for doing such a fantastic job of collecting non-perishable food items! Way to go 2nd and 5th grade!
