Last Month to Enter Reston Zoo's 'Wildshots' Contest

The Reston Zoo is giving away a family four-pack of season passes as the grand prize in this year’s Wildshots photo contest.

The contest entails zoo visitors to send in photos of animals they saw while visiting the zoo. The contest rules state photos of people interacting with animals are most desirable.

Each contestant may enter up to five photos, and anyone participating in the contest is advised to monitor zoo rules while visiting and snapping photos.

There are multiple divisions in the contest: the youth division, for entrants ages 12 and under; the adult division, for entrants over the age of 12; and the cell phone division, for entrants of any age who took their photos specifically on a cell phone.

The deadline to enter is Monday, Aug. 31, and winners will be announced the week of Sept. 14.
