Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences

In this workshop we will discuss ways to understand children’s thinking. This includes a bit of information about IQ measures, ways to define learning styles, the broader categories of multiple intelligences and what is meant by left brain and right brain thinking. We’ll talk about this in terms of how children function in the classroom and ways to support your child’s strengths.
In partnership with Family Compass, our presenter will be Dr. Rene Hackney. Dr. Hackney is a leading parenting and child development specialist, and the founder of Parenting Playgroups.
