Live VA Primary Election Results 2026 For Reston: U.S. Senate Race

RESTON, VA — Polls have officially closed across Virginia and election officials are tabulating ballots cast in Tuesday's primary election.

Reston is in the 11th Congressional District. Incumbent U.S. Rep. James Walkinshaw (D) is running for re-election and Arthur Purves is the Republican Party's candidate. So, there was no primary in the 11th District race.

Instead, just three Republicans were on the primary ballot in Reston: Kim Farington, Bert K Mizusawa, and David Earl Williams. The winner will face incumbent U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D) in November.
