Macaroni Grill Closes Its Doors in Reston

Restonian reports: "There are no words, just an empty hole in our heart that high-carb appetizers can no longer fill."

Hope you weren’t planning any holiday get-togethers at Macaroni Grill.

Say it ain’t so, but it appears to be true: Reston’s Macaroni Grill has closed its doors, according to local blog Restonian.org.

Apparently, there was no warning to employees. Laura writes on Macaroni Grill’s Facebook page:

“The fact that your corporation closed the location in Reston, VA a week before Christmas with NO warning is really [expletive deleted] up. I will never be returning to any of your locations, and I am not alone in my outrage over the...poor treatment of your employees.”

A call Thursday afternoon to the Reston location, at 1845 Fountain Drive at the Spectrum Center was not answered. Instead there was a recording stating that we had reached the restaurant “during closed hours.”
