Major Flooding In Reston Possible This Weekend
Weather forecasts call for soaking rain this weekend and into next week.

RESTON, VA -- You thought the worst was over when it came to rain, didn't you? Well, unfortunately, it's coming back with a vengeance this weekend in Reston, according to forecasts.
Saturday could be particularly drenching, with up to a half inch of rain possible, the National Weather Forecasts says. Up to two inches could fall between now and the middle of next week.
While we aren't likely to see constant rain, showers and storms will probably pop up in the afternoon and evening through Monday at least, predicts the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang.

As always, dry periods can last a lot longer than expected, so keep an eye on the forecast and don't cancel plans just yet. Also, some areas may get much more than others.
The ground is still saturated from all the past rain we've gotten, so this new rainfall means flooding is likely in areas where the rain hits hardest.
