RESTON, VA — Good news, Reston residents: you now have a new option to get around town. Capital Bikeshare is expanding into Fairfax County with two satellite networks along Metro's Silver Line, with one of them being right here in Reston.
Capital Bikeshare is unveiling 15 stations in Reston on Friday, Oct. 21, that will serve the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail station and the Reston Town Center area, according to a statement from the company.
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation has confirmed that Oct. 21 will be the first day that Capital Bikeshare will be available in the county, and there will be a two-part ribbon cutting, one at Reston and the second at Tysons Corner, the other location to get bike stations.
