Major Power Outage Strikes Reston: Report
Power has since been restored, but it's reportedly the second time this week that a power outage has hit South Reston.
RESTON, VA — A significant power outage cause a large portion of Reston to go dark for the second time this week, according to a report.
RestonNow reported that between 700 to 1,000 customers lost power in South Reston at around 9 a.m., and that 1,700 customers in about the same area lost power on Tuesday for a few hours.
As of 11 a.m., Dominion Power's outage map showed that all power had been restored in Reston.
