Malicious Wounding In Herndon Area Under Investigation: Report
Fairfax County Police are investigating a malicious wounding that took place Aug. 13 in the Herndon area of the county.
RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police officers from the Reston Station are investigating a malicious wounding that took place Aug. 13, in the Herndon area of the county, according to the weekly crime report.
Around 10:29 p.m., a group of men approached the victim in a parking lot at 13200 Parcher Ave. They stabbed the victim before driving away. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

FCPD officers are also investigating a vehicle theft and burglary that took place Aug. 8, near Lake Anne in Reston.
Around 8:08 a.m., homeowners in the 1700 block of Chimney House Road reported that someone had entered their home overnight, took property, and then stole their 2009 Nissan Altima from the parking lot. Two days later, the vehicle was recovered in the 11600 block of Stoneview Square in Reston.
