Man Brandishes Gun Near Reston Town Center: Police
The man, who was from North Carolina, was confronted by local security over trespassing, police say.

RESTON, VA — A North Carolina man has been arrested after he threateningly displayed a gun to security near Reston Town Center who confronted him after he allegedly trespassed on private property, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police were called to 12000 Bluemont Way at around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday to a report of a man who had trespassed on the property.
"When security confronted him, the suspect displayed a gun," the report states. "Security officers challenged him and he complied."

Police arrested 35-year-old Robert S. Kao of Charlotte, N.C. on charges of brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and trespassing.
No one was injured in the incident.
