Man Dies After Convertible Goes Flying Off the Road in Great Falls: Police
Police think speed may have been a factor in the crash.

A man is dead after the convertible he was driving went flying off the road and flipped several times in the Great Falls area, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police responded to the 1100 block of Walker Road at 7:32 a.m. Saturday morning to find that a yellow 2004 convertible had been in an accident. The driver of the vehicle, 28-year-old Henry H. Sterne of Alexandria, was taken to the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and Sterne was the only person in the convertible.
After an initial investigation, police believe that Sterne was driving northbound on Walker Road when, for an unknown reason, the car left the roadway, struck a dirt berm and flipped several times.
