Man With Machete Attempts To Rob Reston Exxon Station

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police from the Reston District Station are investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place early Monday morning at an Exxon Gas Station in Reston, according to the daily crime report.

Around 2:34 a.m., two men entered the story at the Exxon station at 11808 Baron Cameron Ave., in Reston. Waving a machete, they confronted an employee and demanded case. The employee struggled with the men, until he gained control of the machete. The men fled the store, but they were later identified. Charges are pending a further investigation of the incident.
