Man Pepper-Sprays Sleeping Woman In Reston: Police
Police charged the man with malicious wounding.
RESTON, VA -- A man has been arrested after he pepper-sprayed a sleeping woman and tried to hit her, police say.
The woman was sleeping outside in the 1800 block of Cameron Glen Drive at around 2:20 a.m. on Nov. 1 when 50-year-old John Ector woke her up and attacked her, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
The woman was treated at the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. Ector was arrested and faces a charge of malicious wounding.
