Man Shot in Reston While Walking Home from Work: Police
The shooter is still on the loose, police say.
RESTON, VA — A man was shot while walking home from work in Reston Wednesday night, and the shooter remains on the loose, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 12000 block of Greywing Square on Oct. 26 just before 11 p.m. They found a 42-year-old man who had been shot in the upper body near his apartment building while walking home from work, the report states.
He was taken to Reston Hospital Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a skinny build who was wearing all black clothing.
Police searched for the suspect with a K-9 team and the Fairfax 1 helicopter but failed to locate him.
