RESTON, VA — A man wanted by Fairfax County Police in connection with the Tuesday morning robbery of the BB&T Bank in the South Lakes Village Shopping Center was arrested in Richmond, according to the weekly crime report.

Police say a man entered the bank located at 11100 South Lakes Drive around 9:58 a.m. on Tuesday, grabbed the manager by force, and demanded cash. He then fled the area on foot. No one was reported injured.

With the help of a surveillance video, detectives identified the man as Benjamin Garrett, 31, of no fixed address. Garrett was arrested Thursday in Richmond on unrelated charges.
