Metro Train Separates Near Reston: Report
A Silver Line train reportedly had two cars separate over the weekend.

MCLEAN, VA -- A Metro Silver Line train had two cars separate shortly after departing the McLean station on Saturday, according to a report.
Watchdog organization Rail Transit OPS Group posted on Facebook that Silver Line train 604, traveling from Wiehle-Reston East to Foggy Bottom, had a separation between the fifth and sixth cars (6038-6039) about 2,000 feet after departing the McLean station.
The group says it happened at around 10:41 a.m., and service was impacted until about 5:01 p.m.

There were no reported injuries to the approximately 80 passengers on board.
