Mind-Blowing Chalk Artwork Lights Up Reston [PHOTOS]
Both professional artists and amateurs descended on Reston Town Center Saturday for a day of fun and color.

RESTON, VA — Reston Town Center was quite the sight on Saturday, as both professional and amateur artists -- and even kids -- decorated the area with chalk. And as you can see below, some of the artwork was positively extraordinary.
ChalkFest at Reston Town Center officially started on Friday, Sept. 9, with professional artists and sponsors working on Market Street from 12 p.m. until 11 p.m., but Saturday was a free-for-all with everyone who had registered invited to participate. The event is presented by the Initiative for Public Art - Reston (IPAR) and Reston Town Center.
Twitter user Phil Erickson posted pictures of much of the artwork, and they were truly a sight to behold, from Vincent Van Gogh to a Prince tribute to optical illusions. You can see the pictures below:
