Herndon Police Help Reunite Owner With Lost Service Dog Following Car Accident

A very happy owner and her lost service dog were reunited on Wednesday, thanks to help from the Town of Herndon Police Department, the media and local residents. Bella the service dog and her owner, Mimi, were involved in a minor car accident in Herndon on Tuesday. When Mimi opened the car door to check on her beloved service dog, Bella--quite possibly frightened after the accident that had just taken place--took off running.

Victims of Anti-Muslim Crime Report Stolen Jewelry

Police are asking for help in recovering jewelry in an anti-Muslim crime reported March 27 at the 5900 block of Grand Pavilion Way in Huntington. A maintenance worker found the apartment broken into and an anti-Muslim statement written on the wall. Items taken included jewelry.
