Naked Man Arrested In Herndon; Shooting At SUV Investigated

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police from the Reston District Station arrested an Ashburn man for running naked through a parking lot in the Herndon area of the county Friday night, according to the daily police report.

Around 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the report of a naked man running erratically in the 2400 block of Centreville Road. Officers arrested the suspect, whom they identified as Carlos Ashe, 35, of Ashburn. They charged him with indecent exposure and drunk in public.

FCPD officers are also investigating at shooting incident that occurred earlier in the day in Reston.

Around 12:50 p.m., a man and a woman were driving in the area of North Shore Drive and Becontree Lane, when two men shot at their SUV. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. According to police, the parties involved in the shooting are known to each other and charges are pending.
