New Reston Association Board Member Announced

RESTON, VA -- Catherine Baum has been selected by area apartment owners to fill the Reston Association Board of Directors seat that was vacated when David Bobzein resigned in April.

Baum will be the apartment owners' representative on the Board, and will officially take her seat at the June 28 meeting. Bobzein resigned after he was diagnosed with leukemia.

She will hold that seat until the next Reston Association election period, which is April 2019.

"Baum, who has lived in Reston since 1975, currently resides in the Lake Anne District," reads an RA statement. "She has held several senior level positions with the country’s top homebuilders throughout her professional career. She is also a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, Inc., and is a past president of the Reston Chamber of Commerce."
