New World Record Set In Reston (ICYMI)
The college student from Great Falls did 10,020 pull-ups in less than 20 hours over the weekend.

RESTON, VA -- A teenager has just set a new world record for pull-ups at a gym in Reston over the weekend, according to a report.
WTOP reports that 19-year-old Andrew Shapiro, a college student from Great Falls, did 10,020 pull-ups over 20 hours. You can watch the moment he passed 10,000 in the video embedded below.

The old record was 7,600.
Shapiro did it to raise awareness for ocean conservation, according to the report. The event also served as a fundraiser for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

Shpairo will submit documentation to the Guinness World Records to prove that he accomplished the feat.
