Oktoberfest is Coming to Reston [VIDEO]

RESTON, VA — Get out your beer steins and loosen your belt: the largest fall festival in Northern Virginia is coming to Reston in just a few weeks. Oktoberfest Reston, which is produced by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, takes place all day on Saturday, Oct. 8 starting at noon.

Food from area restaurants and, of course, plenty of beer will be available at the event. It's a good deal for both patrons and the businesses that participate, organizers said in a statement.

"The Reston Town Center will come alive with delicious traditional Oktoberfest fare from area restaurants and the best in autumn brews," the statement notes. "If you are looking for an opportunity to increase your restaurant's exposure and reach new patrons, sign up today to participate in Oktoberfest Reston and share your food with tens of thousands of festival guests. As a featured restaurant, you will be highlighted in event promotional materials, on the event website and on Oktoberfest social media promotions."

The fun doesn't end on Saturday. The next day, there will be a Reston Pumpkin 5K and Kids Pumpkin 5K, which will kick off at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 9.
