Over 1,100 K-2 Students were visited by Freddy Flossasaurus during Dental Health Month!

The Tisseront Orthodontics team paid a fun-filled visit to K-2 students in order to teach the importance of taking great care of your teeth!

February is dental health month and with it comes the familiar face of Freddy Flossasaurus! Who is this purple fuzzy dinosaur with very large, pearly white teeth? It's the mascot at Tisseront Orthodontics who visited over 1,100 local students this year with his clear message: Brush your teeth! A love for brushing and flossing can be taught early and for that reason Dr. Tisseront and his team like to go out starting at pre-school age on up to about 2nd grade. During this time, kids love to learn all about teeth and love to show off their teeth, too! AND some of the students even get to brush Freddy's teeth to practice their new skills!

Dr. Tisseront's team has been visiting schools for over 10 years to help teachers with their February Dental Health Month lesson plans. The visit is a nice compliment to reinforce what they have already been learning in school. Photos of the visits can be found here. If your school would like a visit from Freddy Flossasaurus next year, you can contact Tisseront Orthodontics at info@TisserontOrthodontics.com to schedule a visit!
