PHOTOS: Thursday Storm Topples Trees in Reston

Cleanup begins after severe thunderstorm with high winds hit area late Thursday afternoon.

Reston Association is working in conjunction with VDOT to remove debris resulting from Thursday afternoon’s storm. Priorities for clearing hazards will be placed on compromised trees that could potentially cause harm to a person and/or damage property or infrastructure.

The RA Central Services Facility team, which includes arborist and non-arborist staff, will also be clearing pathways and removing brush or tree debris from the association’s recreational facilities. Members may call the CSF phone number at 703-437-7658.
