Reston Man Charged In Wednesday Night Stabbing: Updated

Fairfax County Police charged a Reston man in connection with a Wednesday night stabbing at a Reston residence.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police identified the man they arrested in connection with a Wednesday night stabbing in Reston, according to a police spokesman.

Officers were dispatched around 10:03 p.m., to the 2100 block of Cartwright Place for the report of a stabbing. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Following an extensive search of the area involving police dogs and helicopters, police located the suspect at 10:57 p.m., according to the spokesman.

Police charged Charles Johnson, 23, of Reston with malicious wounding in connection with Wednesday night's stabbing.
