Police Arrest 'Disorderly Man' Outside Reston Elementary School
The man, who police said was in the midst of a mental crisis outside Armstrong Elementary, was taken for a mental health evaluation.

A “disorderly” man who was reportedly “acting strange” outside of Armstrong Elementary School in Reston was arrested on Thursday afternoon, a Fairfax County Police spokesman confirmed with Patch.
The police report stated the subject — who was known to officers — was a man in the midst of a mental crisis. He was taken by police to a mental health facility for evaluation.
A Patch reader first reported the incident, noting the arrest and adding that teachers and students were asked to remain inside the building while police arrived and assessed the situation.
