Police Charge Maryland Man In Reston Robbery

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police Officers from the Reston District Station arrested a Maryland man Thursday night in connection with in an assault and robbery in the Hunter Mill area, according to the daily crime report.

Police say a man assaulted and took the personal property of a victim, who was walking on a sidewalk near the intersection of Centreville Road and Sunrise Valley Drive around 8:30 p.m. The suspect then drove away. The victim had minor injuries.

Officers located the nearby and arrested him. They charged Ronald Smith, 46, of Maryland, with robbery and possession of marijuana.
