Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Reston Bus Stop

Fairfax County Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred Thursday evening at a Reston-area bus stop.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police from the Reston District Station are investigating an armed robbery that took place Thursday night at an area bus stop, according to the daily crime report.

A woman was waiting at a bus stop near the intersection of Town Center Parkway and Baron Cameron Avenue around 10:35 p.m., when three men approached her, displayed a firearm, and demanded she give them money and her cellphone. After the woman flagged down a passing motorist, the men fled on foot.

Police describe the suspects as 18-year-old white men. They were wearing dark clothing.
