Police: Sex Assault Suspect Apprehended in Fairfax

Detectives say Drew Wendell Easter may have committed other similar offenses and want to hear from other possible victims.

Fairfax County Major Crimes detectives, along with the U. S. Marshals Service Fugitive Taskforce, have arrested a man suspected in at least two sex assaults at local hotels in Fairfax County, according to police.

Officers arrested Drew Wendell Easter, 31, of no fixed address, Wednesday night in the Fairfax area, police said.

Easter was charged with Rape, Sodomy, Abduction with Intent to Defile, Grand Larceny and Strangulation in connection with two incidents in Fairfax County. Detectives have reason to believe that Easter may have committed other similar offenses. He lured his victims to local hotels, police said, by soliciting the victims online, meeting them at hotels and sexually assaulting them.
