Popular Restaurant The Counter Offering Deal on Summer Milkshakes

Popular Reston burger joint The Counter is helping members of the community keep cool this summer by offering a buy one, get one deal on its seasonal shake: the Watermelon Mockjito Shake.

The shake is made with Edy’s ice cream, fresh watermelon juice and mint. Seasonal shakes are normally priced at $6 apiece, but you can now get two for that price.

“It’s like a minty watermelon creamsicle in the best way possible,” said Mary Park, The Counter’s brand marketing manager.

And, for what it’s worth, The Counter also offers spiked milkshakes “if you want to turn your mockjito into a mojito,” Park said.

The Counter’s Reston location sits at 11922 Democracy Drive. It opens seven days a week at 11 a.m. each day, and stays open until 10 p.m. from Monday through Thursday. The restaurant stays open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and closes shop at 9 p.m. on Sundays.
