RA Board Of Directors Candidates To Participate In 2 Virtual Forums

Nine candidates are running for five open seats on the Reston Association Board of Directors during the March 1-31 election.

RESTON, VA — Residents of Reston have two opportunities to learn more about the candidates running in the upcoming Reston Association election. RA is hosting two virtual Q&A-style forums at 7 p.m. on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28.

Candidates for the At-Large Director (3-year term) and the Apartment Owners Representative seat will be the focus of the Feb. 27 virtual forum. (Link: https://bit.ly/3XyudqA; Meeting ID: 817 0554 3328; Passcode: 522836)

Nine candidates are running for five seats on the RA Board of Directors. Candidates who are running unopposed must receive votes from at least 10 percent of eligible voters in order to be declared the winner in their race.

RA homeowners and renters will receive their ballots in by mail. Voting begins at 5 p.m., on March 1, at 5 p.m. and runs through March 31, with the winners being announced during the annual meeting in April.
