Reston Farmers Market Convenient Source For Autumn Produce, Fruit
While the Reston Farmers Market doesn't offer hayrides or corn mazes, it is a convenient place to pick up your family's Halloween pumpkins.
RESTON, VA — John Lovaas, who founded the Reston Farmers Market, wanted to remind Restonians that they didn't have to go far to get their seasonal produce such as gourds, apples and root crops.
It's also a convenient place to pick up pumpkins for a family's Halloween jack-o-lanterns.
Lovaas, who co-manages the market with his wife, Fran, sent some photos to Patch from a recent Saturday market. It was a little damp, but that didn't deter the market's 34 vendors from show up to sell their wares.
