RESTON, VA — A reggae festival hosted by the Lake Anne Washington Plaza Merchants Association drew large crowds Saturday to the plaza to enjoy music, food and beverages.

LAWPA represents many Lake Anne businesses that are owned by women, minorities and immigrants, including Kalypso’s, Montmartre, Zen Nails Salon, La Miguelena, TLC for Kids, and Dogma.

LAWPA member Ramon Pardo, who is the owner of Terra Properties, came up with the idea of bringing reggae music to Lake Anne. He led a small committee of LAWPA members who organized the event, which ran from 1-9 p.m.
