Reston Association Board Explores Annual Assessment Increase
Reston residents can participate in a Nov. 4 virtual public hearing, when the RA Board considers raising the annual assessment rate.

RESTON, VA — Reston residents are invited to participate in a Nov. 4 public hearing, when the Reston Association Board of Directors will discuss raising the 2021 assessment rate and examine how the extra money would be spent.The current third draft budget includes an annual assessment rate of $708.
During its Oct. 22 meeting, the board and RA staff wanted to explore the option of setting the assessment between $708 and $728. They also wanted to see how capital and operations budgets would be affected by incremental increases in the assessment fee.
Members of the public can participate in the public hearing on Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom (Meeting ID: 942 3628 0245; Passcode: 263425).
