Reston Association Cancels Tuesday Meetings After Snowstorm Ices Up Roads

Two meetings had been scheduled for Tuesday evening, but they will now be rescheduled due to unsafe conditions.

RESTON, VA — The Reston Association has opted to cancel meetings scheduled for Tuesday after the snowstorm resulted in icy roads and sidewalks in the Reston area.

A Special Board of Directors meeting and full Design Review Board meeting had been scheduled, but they will now be postponed.

The Special Board of Directors meeting will be rescheduled to next Monday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Mike Leone, director of communications and community engagement for the Reston Association, said the decision was made due to the "threat of refreezing roads and sidewalks later today, along with increased wind."
