Reston Company A Top 'Corporate Citizen' In US: Report
Leidos, a defense contractor headquartered in Reston, has placed on Forbes Just 100 list.

RESTON, VA -- Forbes has released its Just 100 list, which recognizes the best "corporate citizens" in the United States, and Reston-based Leidos is on it.
Leidos, a defense contractor, landed at No. 62 on the list, which "ranks the largest publicly traded U.S. corporations according to seven business behaviors: worker pay and treatment, customer respect, product quality, environmental impact, ethical leadership, job creation and supporting local communities," according to a statement.
The list is based on a survey of more than 72,000 people over three years, with survey respondents placing a 23 percent important on how well a company treats its workers, 19 percent on customer service, 17 percent on environmental stewardship, 13 percent on community involvement, 10 percent on job creation and 6 percent on shareholder treatment.
