Reston Garage Fire Quickly Extinguished: Report
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units responded to the report of a fire Thursday afternoon in the garage of a Reston home.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax firefighters extinguished a small fire on the roof of a Reston home late Thursday afternoon, according to a post on the Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department's official Twitter account.
Units were at a home in the 11500 block of Greenwich Point Road in Reston area around 4:17 p.m., where they found a fire showing through the roof of the garage. The fire was reported extinguished at 4:23 p.m. No injuries were reported and the majority of units had returned to service.
