Reston, Herndon Area Roads Closed: Police
More heavy rains have resulted in flooding that has shut down numerous roads in the Reston and Herndon area on Wednesday.
More rain soaked Fairfax County on Tuesday, and that means more road closures in the Reston and Herndon area, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police have shut down the following roads:

In Herndon:
Bennett Road at Upper Wynnewood Place – Tree down
"This is a rapidly evolving weather event with changing roadway conditions," the police notice adds. "We will provide updates to this list throughout the day."
