Reston Home Ransacked In The Middle Of The Day: Police
Police found damage throughout an apartment after someone reported that a person was inside who shouldn't be there.

RESTON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect after someone entered a residence and trashed the home, but managed to escape before officers got there.
Police were called to an apartment in the 11900 block of Winterthur Lane at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 "after it was believed someone was in side when no one should have been at home," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police didn't find anyone inside, but "there was obvious damage through indicating someone had been," the report states.
