The hospital hopes to build a two-story, $1.1 million emergency room in the Tysons area, according to a report.

Reston Hospital Center is planning on a major expansion: a two-story emergency department in nearby Tysons, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that the Tysons Corner Emergency Center would be built at 2000 Old Gallows Road, and it would cost $1.1 million and span 16,250 square feet. The building would have 11 patient rooms, all for emergency care.
Currently, the parcel is zoned for commercial use, but the hospital is trying to get that changed.
