Reston Man a Candidate for U.S. Bowling Congress

Adam Mitchell of Reston currently serves as a board member for the Nation's Capital Area USBC.

RESTON, VA — A Reston man is one of four nominees for three positions on the U.S. Bowling Congress Board, and the new board members will be elected during the annual meeting on Thursday, April 27 in Las Vegas.

Reston resident Adam Mitchell, a board member for the Nation's Capital Area USBC since 2014, has been bowling since he was 10 years old. His day job is as president and chief executive officer of Global Solutions Inc., a company he founded in 2013.

"I feel I am qualified to serve on the USBC Board of Directors because I will be able to help continue to promote the sport of bowling at multiple levels," Mitchell states on the USBC website. "I would utilize my business background to continue to push forward strategic initiatives, professional relationships to expand recognition of the sport, and interpersonal skills to work with different teams, where I can continue to bring value to the sport."
