Reston Man Struck By Gunfire: Report
The man has serious but not life-threatening injuries after the shooting in Ashburn, police say.

ASHBURN, VA -- A Reston man was injured by gunfire over the weekend and police have a suspect, but authorities have not announced an arrest yet.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Sunday that the shooting happened early that morning at a residence in the 43500 block of Dunhill Cup Square in Ashburn shortly before 5 a.m. Police released no identifying details about the victim, but RestonNow reported that he is from Reston.
The victim was dropped off at Inova Loudoun Hospital by acquaintances, who attempted to leave the scene, but police tracked them down, according to the statement.

The victim has serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police believe the victim knew the suspect, and are interviewing several people about what led to the shooting.
