Reston Man Tried to Meet with Child for Sex: Police
Joshua Veary, 23, was one of eight arrested in the three-day sting in which detectives posed as minors.

RESTON, VA — A Reston man is among eight who were rounded up by Fairfax County Police in a child exploitation operation.
The three-day operation targeted online sexual predators, and involved detectives pretending to be juveniles going online and receiving "solicitations and sexually explicit images from men wanting to meet the 'child' for the purpose of engaging in inappropriate sexual activity," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
The detective arranged a meeting with each suspect, who were arrested when they arrived, police say.
