Reston Principal Gets Slimed
Principal Shane Wolfe of Aldrin Elementary promised that students could slime him if they read a combined 15,000 books in the spring.
It was a messy end to the school year for Principal Shane Wolfe of Aldrin Elementary, but that was a good thing.
Wolfe had told his students that they could "slime" him if the student body as a whole read 15,000 books through the spring. Apparently, the students really, really wanted to slime him, because they beat that total, according to a statement from the school.
Wolfe dutifully donned a wig and a mustache -- as well as a pair of googles -- and sat in a kiddie pool to take his sticky green punishment as two students "slimed" him at the assembly on the last day of school.

Aldrin Elementary School is located at 11375 Center Harbor Road. The school is named after Buzz Aldrin, the second astronaut to walk on the moon. Aldrin himself opened the school's doors in September 1994.
