Reston Resident Loses Car, Property from Garage Due to Burglar: Police
Police are searching for a burglar who took advantage of an open garage and an unattended car in Reston last week.

RESTON, VA — A Reston resident came to the unfortunate discovery that someone had stolen a car and other valuables from the property last week.
Police were called to the 1600 block of Autumnwood Drive on April 6 between 10:30 and 11 p.m., according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"Someone stole property from an open garage and a car parked right outside," the report states.

The burglary happened in a quiet neighborhood just off the Reston Parkway in northern Reston.
