Reston Restaurant Worker Digs Through Trash for Man's Wedding Ring: Report
The man had had the ring for 55 years, and was quite emotional when the worker found it.

RESTON, VA — A worker at a Reston restaurant came to the rescue after a man lost a wedding ring in the trash he had worn for decades, according to a recent report.
NBC 4 reported that the man was dining at Cafesano when he dried his hands with napkins and then absent-mindedly tossed the ring in the trash along with them -- before coming to the horrifying realization later.
He went to restaurant manager Sergio Alvarado, who located Christina Rosa, a food runner at the restaurant. She started boldly looking through the trash bags that had already been taken outside. It was dirty, messy, stinky work, but eventually she found it -- to the amazement of everyone watching. The man had worn the ring for 55 years, and was understandably quite emotional when it was returned to him, according to the report.
