Reston Rideshare Driver Hits Woman In The Head: Police
Police in Sterling arrested the man on a simple assault charge after he allegedly got into a confrontation with a woman.

RESTON, VA — A rideshare driver from Reston was arrested in Sterling after getting into a confrontation with a woman and assaulting her, police say.
Police say that that at around 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 12 the victim got into a confrontation with a ridesharing driver in the 45600 block of Falke Plaza when the driver "grabbed her phone and hit her head," according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Police arrested 45-year-old Sheikh R. Lamptey of Reston on a charge of simple assault.
