Reston Shooting Leaves 1 Person Dead: Police
Fairfax County police are looking for a suspect in the fatal shooting, which occurred in the 2200 block of Winterthur Court in Reston.
RESTON, VA — A shooting in Reston early Thursday evening left one person dead, while the police continue to look for the suspect, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
The shooting occurred in the 2200 block of Winterthur Court in Reston just before 5:3o p.m.
“One person is deceased, the suspect is described as a black male who left in a black car with tinted windows,” the Fairfax County police said in a tweet.

Police officers from the county's Reston District Station responded to the report of the shooting, Sergeant Hudson Bull said Thursday night at a news conference near the shooting site.

A second person reported minor injuries at the scene, according to Bull. Detectives are investigating how the second person was injured.
The police are continuing to canvass the area and collect evidence about the shooting. The identity of the shooting victim has not yet been released.
